Dante Minniti – Super VVV
Universidad Andres Bello
The VISTA Variables in the Vía Láctea (VVV) is an ESO public survey, which covers about 540 sq.deg. towards the inner bulge and southern Milky Way disk with the 4.1 m VISTA Telescope located on Cerro Paranal, Chile (Minniti, D., et al. 2010, New Ast., 15, 433). The VVV 1st Data Release (Saito, R. K., et al. 2012, A&A, 537,107) was followed by DR2 and DR3, that led to a number of interesting results that I will review. Then I will present our plans for the future project called VVVX, which will be a much larger public survey of the Milky Way to be proposed this semester.
