Francesco Mauro – Unveiling Galactic structure and evolution through extensive automatic photometry
“Unveiling Galactic structure and evolution through extensive automatic photometry”
Universidad de Concepción
In the last decade the study of the Galaxy’s structure and evolution and of the Galactic stellar clusters has been befitted by the use of data from wide-field cameras and surveys, underlining the importance of the development of photometric pipelines to elaborate quickly and accurately large amount of data. In this talk, I will present the work conduct in the development of photometric pipeline, showing the important and accurate results that the produced catalogs permit to obtained. I will further show future plans in the pipeline design and in the study of Galactic stellar systems.
