““The inextinguishable fire of globular clusters”

Ricardo Salinas

Gemini Observatory

Globular clusters (GCs) continue to be a treasure chest where many astrophysical processes
can be tested, giving answer to a wide range of problems from stellar to galactic structure. In
this talk I will present my work on several science topics which involve globular clusters:
stellar variability, self-enrichment, star formation in the MW and the assembly process of
elliptical galaxies.
